Kristal Smith of Jersey City, New Jersey and Desteni Grant of Brooklyn, New York are each charged with evading arrest and receiving stolen property, Warrington Township police said in a release.
Officers were called to the Home Depot parking around 5 p.m. on March 2, after a bystander spotted a blanket draped over a baby seat in a parked car, authorities said.
Police arrived and found stolen merchandise hidden under the blanket, according to the release.
Smith and Grant fled on foot when they returned to the vehicle and saw police, but were quickly arrested, authorities said.
Investigators believe the pair stole $7,100 in goods from Home Depot and Lowe's, including 22 dimmer switches.
Both were processed and released on $50,000 bail, Warrington police added. Each has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 8, court records show.
